Men’s Vogue teamed with Moncler on this Austin ski jacket and its all for a good cause – Donor’s Choose. “DonorsChoose.org is a United States based nonprofit organization that provides a way for people to donate directly to specific projects at public schools.” The Austin Jacket is based on the 1968 Moncler model made for trainers of the French Ski Team. 200 jackets will be made with the first five being auctioned off on eBay as of this writing. We give you a first look at some of the exclusive product that was made especially for the Colette x Gap concept store that will be opening its doors in New York in September.

You will see limited edition collaborative product with the likes of Oakley, Uslu Airlines, Moncler and artist Andre, Gap t-shirts with artist prints and much more. The product will be available only at the Colette x Gap pop-up store and at the newly renovated Colette Paris store, that that opened its doors again today.

The midpoint of the summer is here and its time to begin (if even with digust) a bit about the coming cold months of late fall and winter. We tend to start our hunt for the next great winter look with the outerwear of the Monestier de Clermont, Moncler. The bubble and sheen of their jackets remains in trend after years on the backburner but for the those in the know, Moncler never slowed down and has keept producing a quality product with a very solid look.

The weather is  just getting hot here in the Northeast USA but when you live this close to the slopes, snow is always on the mind. View of the Moncler Neige Collection seem to also make us think of snow early. Expect this collection for Fall/Winter 08/09.

Moncler has been the best of the best in winter sports outerwear for decades. Skiers from Megeve to Mount Tremblant, have preferred Moncler for its superior build and performance. Though the line peaked during the 80’s, it has been seeing major growth outside of Europe due in part to proper collaborations across Asia and beyond.

Their Spring/Summer 2008 line remains strong to the brand’s signature “sheen” look but adds a few surprises. Many thanks to our good friends at Hypebeast for the images.

We have already presented to you the new Moncler collection as well as the Junya Watanabe collaboration collection that has been going forward for a few seasons already.

Here you see now a special colorway of the Moncler Everest jacket, one of their classics, made for Beams Japan. It comes with a camouflage pattern running on the entire upper. It’s a nice upgrade for such an all-time classic!

Earlier this season we already presented to you the first part of the Moncler x Junya Watanabe collection. Now they added some more pieces to it, which you should be seeing in stores such as Dover Street Market and Comme des Garcons flagship stores this month.

In the first drop they released some more preppy pieces, with the stand-out piece beeing the down blazer. In this second drop they worked on some more sporty styles for the eYe collection. As usual it is great to see the best down jackets in the world being remixed by one of our favorite designers, who is also probably the best in the world at remixing classics.
