Here’s one for the Gore-Tex fanatics (goreheads?). We all know about Nanamica’s goretex blending ways and this time they’ve done the trick with some denim. There’s also some bags in the mix, a great looking varsity jacket and an electric yellow raincoat. We also have to note that this is one of the brands that drew stares and pictures when we modelled them, so don’t be surprised if you see Nanamica in more stores than usual come next spring. Either that, or they may have just liked our faces. Both are a possibility.

With their strong use of technical fabrics and classic styling, Nanamica has been garnering lots of attention recently. The “Pertex Wind Parka” is one the pieces that looks to be golden. The shell is made of 100% pertex polyester, which offers a windproof feature that exudes perfect breathability and comfort. The anorak jacket offers the classic blanket design digitally printed on the fabric and has three pockets on the chest for added storage. The perfect anorak with style and functionality. nanamica presents once again their beautiful field blazer for Spring/Summer 2011. This time they also included the matching vest and pants, offering all three pieces in 2 solid colorways. The Field Suite uses Pertex fabric, which is a tightly woven weather proof and breathable fabric, mostly used in the performance sports market. The combination of this functionality with nanamica design is as usual very intriguing.

Japan’s attention to detail in manufacturing always amazes us. We’re not sure if ‘waterproofness’ is a word, but it is the one we’d use to describe this coat, and Nanamica as a whole. We do tire of saying ‘the prices are up there but it’s worth it’ but that is the case with this coat. And, furthermore, who wouldn’t want a waterproof duffle? (Nitty Gritty)

Namamica has some strong design behind them. The North Fact Purple (Japan) team has their hands in this line, including this field jacket which we love. “The Field Jacket Comes in a water proof wool blend fabric.
