A four part story, Nepenthes showcases its impressive line in an editorial entitled Aaron. Floral shirts, they just refuse to go away, this is Nepenthes NY Special from Engineered Garments Workaday is a particularly fine example. Paired with a Needles casual blazer, S2W8 shorts in an awesome shade of lilac and some heavy Birkenstock action, this is an outfit to admire.

Needles delivers their Spring Summer 2012 looks to market. Loose fites in textiles including linen fill the collection with very casual, laid back takes which are sure to please many of our readers. We do wish you some success in finding the collection, though. Nepenthes is about your best bet. Nice guys. Say hello.

Japan’s Needles showcases their trainers for Spring/Summer 2011. We love them. Just about everything that comes out of the Nepenthes house works. Material work on the eyestays (in white) contrasts the leather upper very well. The simple vulcanized sole remains classic throughout.

Mister Mort provides the vital information and images for a bit of news sure to excite a few readers – Engineered Garments has a New York Flagship. The report states the location (307 W. 38th Street) is a former sewing machine repair center. Fitting, and its also hard to argue the desire to stay out of trendier neighborhoods to stick in garmento land. The shop will sell Engineered Garments, Nepenthes, and Needles.

Mister Mort also mentions the store will be open today.

Nepenthes previews their Needles Autumn/Winter 2009 collection online. We’re arguing exactly how classic this offering is. Sure we see a mix of tailored jackets and ranger coats but the crushed velvet in the collection seems to set it off on to strange place, but this may well be the reaction they expected. Fur pea coats and goat suede cardigans are also available but when it comes to classic, we tend to pull for the ready to wear driving jackets.

Japanese brand Needles has introduced some nice leather goods as part of their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. The three wallets come in a beautiful dark brown premium leather and sport purple accents on the zipper and a light brown lining. The finishing touch is the tassle hanging from the zipper. The Needles leather goods are now available from Maps.
