The report states the location (307 W. 38th Street) is a former sewing machine repair center. Fitting, and its also hard to argue the desire to stay out of trendier neighborhoods to stick in garmento land. The shop will sell Engineered Garments, Nepenthes, and Needles.

A nice pair of shit kickers from Nepenthes. The Norwegian welt lined boot are built for those Scandinavian winter but the Japanese have no problem choosing the best of the best when it comes to importing their style. Finished in a lovely oiled brown leather. I could use a pair. Available from Museum Ark.
