highsnobiety - Nom De Guerre F/W 2008 Collection

The new Nom De Guerre Fall/Winter 2008 collection has arrived at Oki-Ni. The first drop consists of a nice short parka, hooded shirt as well as some quality knitwear. Furthermore you will find classic selvedge denim and some accessories, including hats and matching scarf as well as a travel bag. All in all a subtle collection, but definitely not boring.

More views of the Nom De Guerre Fall/Winter 2008 collection available now after the jump.

Nom De Guerre High Collar Coat

09 January 2008, 20.21 | Posted in Fashion | No comments »

Nom de Guerre High Collar CoatOne of my favorite pieces in the current Nom De Guerre collection. Smart design and it has all the nice details – the belt, the high collar in wool with the extra closing strap, the leather buttons, etc. I could go on forever. If you are lucky you still find it and maybe also on sale. Context has some left as well!

I cannot wait for the Spring line!

Nom de Guerre is exactly one of those up and coming high-end brands that we like to keep an eye on. They have a smart mix of casual chic and sportswear in each of their collections. The same is true for their new S/S ‘08 collection, where they also go a bit into American work wear. Smart design, nice accents and simple colors are trademarks of the brand.

Nom de Guerre Deconstructed Deck Hood

09 December 2007, 18.16 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

Decontructed Deck HoodieNom de Guerre has become one of our favorite labels this year, especially after we checked out their new Fall/Winter collection a few months ago in their Broadway underground store. It was just very solid. We especially enjoyed the jackets and knitwear. But our favorite piece was the Deconstructed Deck Hood.

“The Nom De Guerre Deconstructed Deck Hoodie in black comes in a heavy weight cotton jersey with a brushed waxed cotton body. The centre front has a chunky antiqued brass zip covered with a full length storm flap fastened by matt silver D clasps.”

The clasps remind us of the classic Italian Fay jackets. The hoodie is made in Japan and that quality you can also feel. Along with other pieces from the new collection, the hoodie is now available at Oki-Ni.
