NY Mag points us to Topman’s NSFW suits available as part of the Autumn collection. The five “Neon Suites for Work” are available in bold shades of magenta, bright turquoise, eggplant, royal blue, or lime green. Co-ops offer an alternative for small and mid level design and fashion houses who are looking for storefronts to display their wears but may not be ready to dive into their own digs. The co-op offers a shared space (usually temp) to test those waters and align themselves with like minded designs and fashion. If anything its a growing trend that we’re happy to see and would love to see more of globally. New York Magazine takes a look at the co-op scene with their review of six co-ops in the NYC and Brooklyn. A nice primer for those looking for new retail stomping grounds.

Selectism - The Cut on High Waters and Cutoffs

Amy Odell of NY Mag’s The Cut discusses two trends of the summer 08 – high water trousers and cutoff shorts. "The men’s high-waters Thom Browne introduced to the runway in 2004 are catching on this season… two of the strongest fashion-forward men’s trends catching on this summer are happening below the belt, and they’re rather silly: ankle-exposing pants and cutoff shorts."
