A nice pair of kickers from OAK. The oiled suede tall moto boot is finished in silver and black rivets on either side of the lace ups. They feature interior side zippers and  contrasting black nappa leather on the heel and ankle. Our friends at men.style get some preview looks of the OAK and OAK Black Label line for Autumn 2009. “If you’re a guy who prefers to skip the hassle of destroying your jeans and would rather pick them up pre-shredded, Oak’s the place to be. a.ok, the new in house line from OAK brings some seriously reasobaly priced fashions to a boutique which is topped off with some of the best of the higher priced wears. Clearly they know how to drive traffic through their doors with a selection of men’s goods proper for all. “Thick suspenders” at $18 and light weight super soft hoodies at $68 and slim denim at $72 make a.ok some of the best bargain goods to be had at the moment. We approve of these recession friendly goods from OAK.

An interesting take on pockets from Yigal Azrouel. “Yigal azrouel’s low rise, drop crotch pant. warm grey washed cotton twill, two front pockets with marigold embroidery detail. raw hem, styled as rolled hem.” Get them now from OAK.

Krane comes through with a superior coat made from waxed cotton. The Jonas Coat is a double breasted officer’s coat with a sheep fur lined collar, pewter finish pocket snaps, vented sleeves, and a removable liner made from “recycled Italian military blanket.” A great look available now from OAK.

Today we came across an interesting shoe by 3:33 – the Leather Floppy. The soft dark grey leather mid bootie comes with an interior side zip and a quilted pattern on the upper. It is interesting how the leather falls, and it almost reminds us of the shoes of the classic Joker, sort of a modern interpretation of it.

The leather already looks butter soft on the images and the white rubber sole is also a nice contrast. The 3:33 Leather Floppy is now available at Oak.

In celebration of OAK’s first fall collection, the NYC based shop is getting their hands tied with designers of the likes of J Lineberg, Public School, Maharishi, Filippa K, and many others, around the theme of Bond Age. Its a play on word really. The above designers and many others will produced limited run t-shirts celebrating OAK’s fall season. The shirts will be avilable only through their Bond Street shop and online from September 8-11.
