We present you teh Raf Simons Zip Change sneakers. An interesting concept that we actually do not see for the first time. A zipper goes around the mid-sole and lets you switch between a high-top and low-top sneaker. What you see here above is the same shoe. Raf Simons is the first in the high fashion market to release it and even though we like it better than what we have seen before, we cannot exactly say that we are convinced. 

Is this really something needed? The only reason that comes up, why this makes sense, is to maybe save some money. But somebody who buys into Raf Simons, clearly does not want to save money on clothing or footwear.

Also it is clearly something that one needs to test out. Just from images, I do not trust the zippers in terms of stability. I would really need to see it in person.

The new Nom De Guerre Fall/Winter 2008 collection has arrived at Oki-Ni. The first drop consists of a nice short parka, hooded shirt as well as some quality knitwear. Furthermore you will find classic selvedge denim and some accessories, including hats and matching scarf as well as a travel bag. All in all a subtle collection, but definitely not boring.

A great little jacket from Miu Miu. "This funnel neck jacket is constructed from lightweight, butter soft suede and has been half lined for added comfort. Features include an off centre a-symmetrical zip fastening, two zip fastened pockets at the waist and one at the chest. The sleeves feature subtle integrated patch detailing and cuff zips." Oliver Peoples Eyewear has teamed up with Nom de Guerre for a limited edition collaboration sunglass available in two colourways, Dark Mahogany and Black. The hand sculpted designs were inspired by the legendary 1950s musician Roy Orbison.

Oki-Ni will be offering them in their online store as of next week. After the jump you can check out the black colorway.

Oki-ni has stocked up on the latest in Fred Perry Footwear. The tennis inspired line uses mixed materials ranging from leathers to gum soles in delivering some very classic looks.

I stopped using traditional wallets a long time ago.
