We take a look at Our Legacy’s “a constellation within” Spring Summer 2012 collection. Always ones to create something a little interesting with their lookbooks, this man about town can be seen hanging out next to a variety of cars in double-breasted jackets, loose print trousers and simple shirting.

Casual suiting seems to be the order of the day with this one with a few offbeat touches thrown in here and there. Our Legacy explain, ”all together it ranges from a casual selected list of our favorite clothes, to a conceptual mix of unique pieces. Everything is linked by a theme, color and feeling into a highly personal vision – tailored and intended as the whole collection’s carrier.”

Some well put together Spring Summer 2012 looks from Our Legacy courtesy of end clothing. The Swedish label has always floated from trend to trend, never really committing to any one in particular – a good thing considering how quickly these things come and go. As a result each collection feels fresh rather than samey, pulling in a mix of references and keeping the line simple and solid. End has them.

Another great print from our Swedish friends at Our Legacy. This time they’ve chosen the ever reliable polka dot, white spots on grey 100% cotton brushed fabric, giving this a washed and worn look. Drop through these looks for Autumn from one of the fast risers in the contemporary menswear scene: Our Legacy. Just about every garment in the collection is universal for all the guys out there – and there is no sizing bias. All these garments work. Absolutely solid collection that rides no line but one of wearability. Proper.

Our Legacy are pretty handy when it comes to the casual shirt. We’re not entirely sure about the title of this particular number but we do know we like it. Woven canvas twill, single chest pocket, button down collar and that rather nice arrow print. We’re sold. Need Supply has them.

PROJECT 10’s Ebbets Field Vintage works over these classic caps for the Our Legacy Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. Made in the U.S.A. of course, the caps for the Scandinavian men’s power line come in a few colors of your choosing. The fit of the cap is well into the golden age of baseball. We’re not even sure if the sport hit Europe when these designs were in play.

Here’s a look at OL doing the DB.  We could run over all the details – patch pockets, sizeable notch lapels, etc etc – but we’d rather focus on the most important thing when looking at a double breasted blazer. And that is (drumroll please) will you look good or will you look like an extra from Deep Cover? We think it’ll be the former, but if it’s the latter don’t come running to us to complain.
