After previously collaborating on a canvas sneaker, the two Scandinavian brands Gram and Our Legacy once again got together, this time on a leather sneaker. The basis is once again the 378g model by Gram. The upper is made of thick calf skin, a thick rubber sole and tie cap make sure your feet stay dry this season.

There is something special and unique about the Our Legacy for Gram Design 378g shoe. Maybe its the use of fabrics against the classic oxford cut of the shoe – white leathers, waxed Millerian (the same supplier for Barbour). Either way this is not a collaboration but more the development of something new. "The idea was to use a typical plimsole shape but instead of doing it as cheap as possible it was decided that this should be conceived without compromise. One single low top style was born, dressed in three different guises." Each shoes comes with a bag, shoe horn, and brush.

Our Legacy applied the very same material that Barbour uses for their iconic jackets to these canvas leather sneakers, which makes them waterproof. In most cases (at least in the winter) one does want shoes to be waterproof, but they should not look like they were, because that usually means that you are wearing rain boots.

We just featured the Our Legacy Fall/Winter 2008 collection this morning. Nevertheless we have to come back to the brand and show you their latest fixed gear bike – the Midnight Messenger 2008. 

During the last Capsule Paris show we shows you their first fixed gear bike, which came in all white. The Midnight Messenger comes in dark blue, brown leather seat and details on the front, as well as white detailed on the wheels. A beauty with only very minimalist branding, just like you would have expected from them. The bike comes limited to 30 pieces worldwide.

The first delivery of the new Our Legacy Fall/Winter 2008 collection has arrived at Tres Bien Shop, which now features an Our Legacy Shop-in-Shop at all times.

Our Legacy we first discovered some time last year and we liked their casual looks right from the start. Somewhat classic, yet not boring, and still with that clear Swedish take on things. 

Their new Fall/Winter 2008 collection offers a nice selection of shirts, chinos, as well as some quality knitwear.

Scandinavian fashion house, Our Legacy has teams with England’s beloved Brooks Saddle and Leather Goods Company on producing this Our Legacy bike. No word on fabrication numbers for the frame. We’re looking at the usual deep white rims, threaded headset, and chrome fork…. oh, and a Brooks saddle (though is a little steep for my liking). The bike was previewed at (capsule) Paris. (via hq)

Earlier this month we previewed Sweden’s Our Legacy “Swing of the Pendulum” Collection which focused on the cut and sew varieties of menswear. As a followup up to the “Pendulum” collection we present you with the Our Legacy “Illustrated Line” which focuses on printed matter t-shirt offering of ‘illustrated’ goods for Spring/Summer 2008. Expect much more from this line in the seasons to come. We’re keeping eyes on them.
