The Royal Mail service launches their latest theme collection of official stamps. The “Great British Fashion Stamp Set” collects garments and styles  from 10 local fashion houses including Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen – all beautifully photographed by Sølve Sundsbø with clean silhouettes. Fit yourself into your choice looks.

Fancy London retailer Harrods has teamed with fancy British designer Paul Smith for a two-month pop up cycling shop on the fifth floor of the renowned department store. Three products are featured: Rapha + Paul Smith jerseys, printed t-shirts and made-to-order bikes form Condor, Brompton, Merican and Paris. Paul Smith grew up cycling and raced at the Breeston Cycling Club, and inside the back pocket of each jersey you will find a picture from Paul along with a quote about cycling. A triple effort on this one. New York Textile company Maharam, Furniture manufacturers Fritz Hansen and Paul Smith join forces to create some incredible pieces of furniture. Point by Paul Smith, a range of textiles based around Fair Isle techniques – 7 geometric patterns in total, have been applied to classic chairs such as the Egg, Swan and Grand Prix by Arne Jacosen and the Alphabet Sofa by Piero Lissoni. A play on Smith’s unmistakable multicoloured stripes, this intricate fabric brings something new to this collection of furniture design icons.

British surf company Swami’s have got together with the ever versatile Paul Smith to create a range of Surf goods. The independent brand are known for their interesting designs, each one individually made to order, we’re told “Swami’s was named after one of the most legendary point breaks in California, which took its name after the Indian holy man who in 1937 built his ashram on top of the cliff.”

This board is one of just 50, signed by Sir Paul Smith, individually numbered with the purchasers initials set into the deck. A t-shirt and hoodie also make up part of the collection, the board will be available direct from Swami’s.

It seems nobody can be taken seriously this coming spring until they’ve had their say in the boat shoe department. Here is Paul Smith’s entry. A fancier take than most, these dogs have a fold-over fringe flap, bold whipstitch detailing on the toe and a knotted detail at the heel. The white soles have a smart elephant pattern for extra steeze. The Ripley comes in deep green, maroon and brown. Por Vocação has them.
