Someone needs to introduce Liam Gallagher to Peter Jensen. If Gallagher knew that there was already a designer making high quality parkas, he might stop wasting his time trying to make his own clothing line. The latest parka to come from Mr Jensen is this number, which is made of waxed cotton. As longtime readers will know, we’re big fans of anything that gets better as it ages and waxed cotton is one of those materials. Get it from Tres Bien.

Peter Jensen isn’t quite a household name yet, although his Fred Perry collab is doing a good job of raising his profile. The London based designer, who showed his AW09 collection on a couple of days ago, has some pretty cool SS09 pieces, such as this hooded check jacket. It’s perfect for the summer, doesn’t have an overbearing check pattern and looks like it could have been part of the Fred Perry collab. Get it from Farfetch.

Peter Jensen’s SS09 show, was a mixed collection, although it featured more women’s looks than men’s. Perhaps that’s to be expected, given that the name for the collection is ‘Jodie’. Despite this, there were still a good few men’s looks which we’ve captured above. Highlights include a patterned blazer and shorts, an oversized shirt used as a jacket and a boxy jacket.

Fred Perry continue their collaboration work with this upcoming collection from fellow collaboration fanatic Peter Jensen. Jensen has worked with everyone from B Store to Topman and doesn’t look like slowing down anytime soon. We take a look at some key pieces out of the Peter Jensen Fall/Winter 2008 collection. Our favorites are the Fox Knit Sweater and the Wool Duffle Coat. Both pieces are classics, smarly re-interpreted by the designer. The Fox Knit Sweater comes with a certain amount of humor infused, but also looks great. The Wool Duffle Coat comes with hood, big buttons, just how we like it. It also comes with a nice cut, perfect for the late Fall and Winter.
