Here’s a new brand from Pitti. We’d like to pretend we discovered but, seeing as they received an honourable mention at Pitti’s Who’s On Next award, we can’t do that. The trouser and suspender company are a left step from the usual Italian brands that everyone’s raving about but, like Camo, it’s one to keep an eye on.

We’re having a bag day here, so here’s Want Les Essentiels offering at Pitti. They’ve got a new organic line and a case for the Blackberry playbook. Barena have been on our radar for a while, but we haven’t delved into the brand properly until today. As you’d expect for spring range showing at Pitti, it’s a lightweight linen affair but there’s enough subtle touches and patterns to move it away from blue suited uniformity. We also caught up with one of the owners, Francesca Zara for a quick Q&A about the brand, her favourite piece from her collection her love for the countryside.

We’re feeling shoey today so you get Grenson as well as Church’s. They’ve added a longwing to the collection, which is a surprise as British shoe companies tend to duff up the longwing. We also caught up with Tim Little himself to catch a few quick words on the brand, Pitti itself and his favourite shoe from his collection.
