Porsche Design “911 Inspired” Bottle Cooler

Porsche Design "911 Inspired" Bottle Cooler

A fun one from the Porsche Design group: this champagne/bottle cooler pays homage to the original ribbed cylinder on air-cooled 911 vehicles. The anodized bas features the Porsche crest laser cut. Keep your bottle chilled or air-cooled for the guests. They’ll be talking about this one. A fun one as seen on Notcot.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Collection by Porsche Design Studio

Luxuo points us at the meeting of two great names: Johnnie Walker and Porsche Design Studios. The two have teamed up for a special edition packaging for  Johnnie Walker Blue Label which houses the bottle of excellence inside a made-to-order chiller and private bar. The Porsche Design casing features enough space to house a few glasses. Dark blue leather and titanium, found on the chiller, offer a very personal display of what may be your favorite label.

Porsche Design P 6520 Compass Watch

Porsche Design’s new P 6520 Compass Watch comes in at 42mm and is inspired by their first Compass Watch from 1978. “The P 6520 Compass Watch comes in two parts: the upper part is a three-hand watch. The lower part of the watch opens to reveal a liquid compass that can be easily removed. The watch is available with a compass for both the Northern as well as the Southern hemisphere.” A scratch resistant mirror helps align you. Limited to 911 units.

Porsche Design Advent Calendar

Selectism - Porsche Design Advent Calendar

This one confuses me a bit but damn it looks good.  Porsche Design works over the typical advent calendar with something heavily placed and six feet tall. “Instead of an array of tasty chocolates stashed in a cardboard calendar, the company has built an aluminum tower nearly six-feet tall. There are unique Porsche Design gifts designed to correspond with each day in the run up to Christmas, including niceties like a P’6910 mechanical stopwatch, a full P’7340 kitchen and, probably most impressively, an RFF28 “motor yacht” with a single 525-horsepower Mercury engine. Quite how they get the last two items to fit in the tower, we’re not entirely sure.” (autoblog)

Porsche Design Eyewear Autumn/Winter 2009

Selectism - Porsche Design Eyewear Autumn/Winter 2009

A quick look at The Porsche Design Eyewear Autumn/Winter 2009 collection revealed they’re packing some style. The new frames keep true to their combination of elegance and minimal design. They’ve re-released such classic styles as their legendary heritage “Pilot” and “Shield” sunglasses. But these new editions get a serious facelift with heavy duty stainless steel for strength and high grade titanium for ease and flexibility. “Minimal use of material at maximum load” is their new motto and we couldn’t agree more. -cw

Gentleman’s Gadgets profiles the latest frill sport offering from Porsche Design.

“As soon as the first snow falls, as immediately the snow slopes get rushed by several premium labels. … the silver design-sled by Porsche may now also pull the most style conscious person to have fun on a simple way. The noble aluminum sportster offers also functionality, thanks to its practical folding mechanism, and it is prepared for even the heaviest holiday dinner with a maximum capacity of 100kg.”

That’s about 220lbs, people. Sled on.

Fearless x Porsche Design Boat

Boats are after all still something fascinating. We just came across this Fearless boat that was entirely designed by Porsche Design from Stuttgart. We have never seen something so sleek. And the pic above is not a mock-up, it actually looks like that. The performance on water is also really impressive.

Check out its performance in the video in the RL Magazine.
