TIm Yu over at Cool Hunting provides a very nice write up on the Head Porter Plus White Button-Down Shirt. What seems at first glance a simple shirt, end up hiding some interesting performance enhancements. "What makes Head Porter Plus’ version different (and the perfect summer shirt) are hidden mesh inserts at the upper back and underarms providing extra ventilation in hopes of avoiding sweat and stains. Made of 100% cotton, the Head Porter Plus logo is uniquely placed on the side of the shirt and the buttons are genuine pearl exclusively."

French brand A.P.C., known for its simplistic approach, has gotten together with Porter from Japan to work on some pieces. For men they worked on some wallets in three colorways and for women they created a tote bag. Both pieces have the same simplistic approach that we learned to love in the brand and nothing distracts from the basic functionality of the items.

Head Porter is set to release a collection using a Louis Vuitton-esque monogram, which is nothing new from them, but this time they are applying it to translucent vinyl bags. Classic bags with a twist. 

UK designer Margaret Howell is known for creating outstanding every day clothes with smart accents and details. Thus a collaboration with Japanese luggage company Porter just makes sense. The designer applied the same aesthetics to the bags, as she also does to her clothing. She kept it simple and mainly used nylon, while using leather accents to give the collection a more high end feel.

The Margaret Howell x Porter collection has been released in Japan this month. Have a look at some more pieces after the jump.

Here you see the latest product from Head Porter. They will be releasing the “Dot” collection soon. It consists of a Day Pack, Messenger Bag, Boston Bag, Wallet, DS Lite Case, Cosme Case and a Laptop bag – all of course covered in the polka dot pattern.

The Head Porter “Dot” collection will be available soon at the Honeyee Store.

Head Porter is opening a new flagship store in Nagoya, Japan. This the the 3rd store after New York and Tokyo. It will be carrying both the Head Porter and the Head Porter Plus luggage collection.

Here we present you the Head Porter Snow White Collection. Basically this is the counter part to the Black Beauty Collection of Head Porter. The new Snow White collection will be released on the 6th of February. Via Hiroshi Fujiwara.

A few pieces out of a Porter x Levi’s collaboration collection have been released now. The collection comes in blue washed denim and features a white Porter tag with red levi’s tag on the front. For now they released the Boston bag, tote bag and also the backpack. All available now here.

Last week we presented you already a wallet out of the Ortega x Beams x Porter collection. Today we show you the other pieces of the collection, which also consists of pouches and a messenger bag. All bags come in woven materials, made by traditional Mexican mill Ortega. All in all a very nice collection, that is now exclusively available at Beams in Japan.

Porter has released a new Grocery Tote, which looks exactly like the paper bag that you get in a supermarket, but it is not made out of paper and of course reusable. The bag comes in the same brownish color, has the same handles and even comes with the triangle pattern on the edges, imitating the paper cutter. Inside it has a light blue lining.
