The Post Overalls hooded engineer jacket is a reworking of a classic PO style. The engineer jacket, now featuring detachable hood and contrast sheen lining. It’s in a shade of orange we’re calling ‘prison jumpsuit’ because it’s always nice to see a colour then name it after a thing it reminds you of. Donut buttons, chinstrap, the whole jacket is made of a sturdy cotton twill. Wrap yourself up in penitentiary goodness over at end clothing.

The ever reliable Post Overalls bring us this fantastic Calico print number. A rich shade of red that makes this stand out from the crowd, it’s nice to see a bit of bold colour in an increasingly indigo world. Contrast stitching is a trademark Post Overalls move and works especially well on this vibrant shirt. 100% cotton, Made in the USA, this gets our seal of approval.

Like Rick Ross said on ‘fitted cap’, ‘our Tricker’s high top, cinch back fitted chinos’. He might not have said that per se, but if he’d seen these Post Overalls trousers we’re sure he would’ve renamed the song ‘cinch back chinos’. We’re not sure he would’ve been able to fit into them but it’s not like that stopped him rapping about Rick Owens. (Garbstore)

We were gonna start quoting some UK Garage in this post, but we thought better of it. Anyway, a link is worth a thousand words. The flower power movement (remember when folks were calling workwear ‘a movement not a trend’ Ha!) is gathering pace with a vengeance. We’re not sure when it happened, but it looks like everyone in the timeless classics set is doing a green shirt of some kind. More jackets here. Obviously we don’t believe in seasonally appropriate attire. That and we’re waiting for our favourite shirts of the season to arrive in stores. So, until then, you’ll have to make do with some great looking jackets. This is pretty lightweight anyway, so you could get away with wearing this on top of a linen shirt in relatively warm weather without sweating buckets. (Garbstore)

We don’t know when it happened specifically but we’ve become a little obsessed with denim jackets lately, especially ones you can layer underneath a bigger coat. Designer Takeshi Ohfuch continued to pull from old NYC with his latest Post Overalls offering. This quilted “calico stripe” vest is a solid example of the work. Made in N.Y., the vest may work for someone looking to finish off that Christmas Day look. Context has them.

Contrary to popular belief, we’ve been liking Post Overalls. But we’ve stepped up our like of the brand this season, mainly because this season is a great one.
