Selectism - post-overalls-denim-lined-chino-01

Lining your chinos with a warm fabric is always a smart move in winter – buying them pre-lined is even smarter. Post Overalls have some gingham lined chinos that’ll do the job nicely, making sure you always look crispy but never get cold. (Bureau)

This is strictly for the pattern lovers. We don’t blame anyone for not loving this piece, but we feel it’s a nice wardrobe addition – as opposed to a staple. You should have all your everyday pieces by now anyway. Now it’s time to add some colour. Especially when that colour is on sale and available in a few sizes. [Bureau]

Selectism - Post Overalls for Spring 2011

(capsule) NYC brings looks at the forthcoming collection from Post Overalls. Workwear remains strong with their take on the look via corduroy trousers and shirts. The line is built tough and offers styles that will remains in your closet for years if not decades. Hold onto them, workwear will probably be back in 20 anyways.

Post Overalls Mattalini Jacket

Selectism - post-overalls-mattalini-jacket-01

After our last rather fashion-y pick, here’s one for those days when you’re chilling out, maxing, relaxing, all cool and don’t really want to put too much thought into your outfit (after school). The relaxed feel of this jacket means we wouldn’t want to disrespect it by overdressing – and before you ask, yes, clothes have feelings too – with super smart neckwear. So, in the heavily paraphrased words of Rick James, put away your bow tie and enjoy yourself. (Norse Store)

Post Overalls Chambray Trousers

Selectism - post-overalls-chambray-trousers-01

We know you’re probably bored of chambray shirts by now, but what about chambray trousers? We’ve gotta admit, our main worry with them was that they’d be a little too lightweight. Lightweight is fine, overly light and you start resembling R. Kelly in the nineties. Thankfully these Post Overalls trousers avoid that by making just the right weight – light enough to wear in the heat of summer and heavy enough to not have you freezing during an evening cold snap. And on top of all that, you can wear chambray without looking like every other guy in chambray. (The Bureau)

Song remains the same, detailed images after the leap.

Post Overalls Melton Wool Overshirt

29 October 2009, 16.30 | Posted in Fashion | No comments »

selectism - post-overalls-melton-overshirt-01Remember when we teased you with that Lee for Journal Standard post yesterday? Well today we’re making up for it. This Post Overalls piece is readily available to the western hemisphere and is nearly identical to the Lee/JS joint – give or take some gold buttons and one chest pocket. Like we said yesterday, this is a versatile jacket that can be worn in the traditional workwear fashion or you can go all superfashion with it. The choice is up to you. Just don’t wear it the latter way in front of workwear fanatics. (Superdenim)

post overall vests 00 Post Overalls Cruzer Vests

Depending on how you plan to wear these two vests from Post Overalls,  the vest will make you look like a very fashion forward individual or someone on their way to a conductor’s convention. With all seriousness, these “Cruzer” vests are top quality products Made in the USA and well worth a look. For the record, I’m a fan of conductor work jackets (in case you were wondering).(arks)

ACL | The Post O’Alls Factory Tour

post overalls factory tour 01 ACL | The Post O’Alls Factory Tour

M. Williams (aka ACL) loves to visit factories in the same way that some people love hitting rock concerts. He recently visited the Post O’Alls Factory on one of their slow days. “The day I visited the factory Post had just wrapped up a huge production run which explains why many people are not pictured sewing  in these photos. It is also the reason that the factory looks a slightly more disheveled. I personally love the POST O’ALLS collection, so it was a treat to see everything being made. Most of the goods are sold in Japan, but you can buy POST in New York at Barneys and Steven Alan.”

Post Overalls Royal Traveller Vest

23 October 2008, 03.56 | Posted in Fashion | 1 comment »

post overalls vest Post Overalls Royal Traveller VestAnother great piece comes this season from Post Overalls – the Royal Traveller Vest. It is made out of cone chambray and an instant classic. The way the vest buttons up is very interesting and the pockets go over both sides, which is a nice detail.

The Post Overalls Royal Traveller Vest goes with pretty much any shirt and is the perfect companion on the colder days. It can also add some style to an outfit, while still remaining an overall casual look!
