Burberry Prorsum Pre Autumn/Winter 2009

Helping to bridge the move from Summer to Fall comes the Burberry Prorsum Pre Autumn/Winter 2009 collection. The outerwear is strong as expected from Burberry with trenches in a variety of cuts – from the oversized military look to more drab style finishes. Strong knitwear also works well but I am still hesitant on the velvet. As Christopher Bailey puts it, “The season is about reinvention – redefining and re-modernising the core of what Burberry stands for with our authentic British spirit and point of view.”

More looks from the Burberry Prorsum Pre Autumn/Winter 2009 after the jump.

Rag & Bone Pre-Fall 2009 Collection

Thanks to websites like this one, the overall speed of the fashion world has increased dramatically – Hence the need of pre-collections. Pre-collections are usually pretty short affairs, but Rag & Bone have released a mammoth range that would dwarf some designers mainline collections. This is by no means the entire collection, – we think that some of the pieces would be lost in translation unless they were seen styled – so we’ve left quite a few out. Prices range from $235 for the chambray shirts (pictured above) to $695 for some double-breasted macs.

Take a look at the collection after the jump.
