London’s Goodhood have recently unveiled an interactive, rather unconventional preview of their new season lines. They merrily stray from the studio-shot lookbook, opting to produce an amusing illustrated series. The 5-character set covers a range of current and forthcoming wares from the likes of Junya Wantanabe, YMC, Trickers and more – presenting the garments in a fun, delightfully ambiguous fashion that continues to fuel our excitement for autumnal attire. -jr

“Salon 94 is pleased to present For the Kids, an exhibition of sports lithographs from the archives of John and Tock Costacos. Opening on Thursday, June 23rd 2011 at Salon 94 Freemans and curated by Fabienne Stephan and Adam Shopkorn, the show serves as a mini-retrospective of early Costacos posters from 1986 through 1990. In addition to these works, pieces will be presented from Jeff Koons’s first solo exhibition, Equilibrium, the 1985 show that included basketballs floating in display tanks, cast bronze standard scuba diving tanks and framed advertising posters that appropriated imagery contained in Nike advertisements that preceded the earliest Costacos work.”

The OC Blog just posted up a behind the scenes look at the upcoming Pendleton for OC AW10 lookbook. You can’t see very much of the clothes (as is expected of a preview) but what you can see looks like the good ol’ slimmed down silhouettes we’ve become accustomed to. There’s also a sneak peek of the OC autumn/winter 2010 footwear collection, which you can see after the leap.

Taking influence from the post-war era, Uniforms for the dedicated have avoided the reproduce-and-slim-down approach that all too many companies have taken over the past few years. Instead they’ve played around with the pieces making varsity blazers (as we previewed before), drop crotch chinos and work jackets. As the title of this post suggests, this is only a short preview, although we’ll be sure to update it in more depth closer to the release date.

The previews keep on rolling. Here’s a couple of looks at what’s to come from Lavenham’s AW10 collection. Whilst the quilted jacket is to be expected (it is their M.O, after all) the duffle jacket is one of those old new additions that only brands with genuine heritage can get away with – if you know what we mean.

The yellow-y beige duffle is a nice change from the usual sea of navy and the tweed jacket is our preferred version of the quilted jacket. We like the nylon ones, but it just makes too much noise when you move, no one wants their upper body movement to sound like you’ve plugged your coat into an amplifier. Readers should also enjoy that one of our writers are taking turns modelling – with the head cut off to preserve our modesty and your stomach.

If you follow the proper Twitter feed, you may have caught an earlier glimpse of the S2VS Spring 2010 collection yesterday. In case you did not, we offer up a few looks from the collection. Clearly, we’ll be seeing more from S2VS but these exclusive looks (supplementing yesterday’s looks) should hold us over for a while.

Wrath Arcane sent over some preview looks from their Spring 2010 collection. We should have some real world shots of this collection during (capsule) NYC, so check back for more. The title of the collection, “Let the Golden Age Begin” is pulled from one of my favorite Beck tracks. Looks have slight drape to them. Of interest is the classic tee re-interpreted as well as their off center waxed cotton motorbike jacket.
