Since its first collection was released last year, the Canadian brand Ransom has become a favorite. Classics are nicely re-interpreted with new materials and functionality. The line stays subtle, but is not boring.

That also seems to be the case with their upcoming Fall ‘08 collection. Matt George gives us a first look at some key pieces, including a nice hunting jacket with matching pants, a quilted shirt and also their first move into luggage.

YMC has released a sneak peek at its Autumn/Winter ‘08 collection. In addition to 40s and 50s style menswear ypou expect from them, featuring cotton western style shirts, kid leather biker jackets and Japanese Selvedge denim, the collection will also see the launch of a line of women’s wear. Rabbit hair, merino wool, and silk crepe work together to create an intelligent, distinctly feminine, ‘West Side Story’ inspired collection.  See this season’s collection at  New Dandyism.

New York’s 3sixteen brand has been on street side of fashion for many years remaining  a bit less pronounced than other brands in the genre. Of interest was their Monsoon Jacket offering a few seasons ago which showed a glimpse of things to come as they ventured into the detailing of producing a true full line.

For Fall 2008, 3sixteen moves further into new territory. We provide you with some basic views of what is to come. We will of course do our best to give you a full view in the future.

We Are The Market brings us a quick preview of the coming Public School Fall 2008 Collection. From the looks available we’re able to gauge that leather works will be featured including a long jacket and what looks to be a leather cardigan, full cut trousers, and more. A larger preview will come shortly.

Gourmet was certainly one of the most interesting brands to launch in 2007. Both their sneakers and clothing have impressed so far and from a preview that we give you here, it seems like 2008 is no different. They teamed up with Canadian premium retailers Richard Kidd and outerwear brand Arc’terx on a small collection of technical outerwear. It will debut in 2008, we will of course keep you posted!
