With the Baracuta’s resurgence, the bomber jacket has slowly edged its way out of chavdom. Capitalising on that resurgence is Moncler, who’ve created this purdy looking quilted bomber jacket. Following on its 25th Anniversary Collection from August, the Duffer of St. George releases a series jackets in the second wave of the collection this month. We’ve been giving Watanabe a wide berth this season. We still like him and all, it’s just harder to feature his pieces now the menswear blog gods have decided that he’ll be the menswear label of the season.

But we just couldn’t ignore this jacket. Look at it – it’s gorgeous. We know the deer hunter types will be wearing it with flannel shirts and hiking boots but we feel that’s a little obvious. Mix it up – it won’t hurt. (Browns)

Barbour-style quilted jackets are pretty big in the UK right amongst the trendsetters. It’s a style of jacket that can easily go wrong, but done right it can be a great look. The problem with some of the new Barbour items is that they’re starting to feature their name more prominently – which is a turn off for those who like their style to be anonymous.
