Socks are fun 75-percent of the time, but when the heavy summer heat hits, nothing feels better than slipping your bare feet into a pair of light, breathable shoes. We are not bored with boat shoes—such a classic look, they will always be a staple—but it has been a while since a boat shoe really moved us. I’ve been thinking about “factories” like Maine’s Quoddy for a while. For those not aware, Quoddy is located in Lewiston, Maine, a town pretty much in the middle of nowhere. As in literally in the middle of no-where.
