Seemingly answering the question, sorry QWSTION, “What shall I carry on my back to the seashore?” this little packer from our Swiss bag bros says: “Just a few things, sir, and you will look dashing while (whilst?) doing so.”

Somewhere between a messenger and a weekender comes the latest bag from Switzerland’s QWSTION line. Their Courier Messenger Bag one of the cleanest looks form the maker in some time. The nylon strappings remain as does the brushed grey outer. The win here is on the shape. No dangling straps to hide and conceal. It is an overall clean look that works. Available online.

Zurich’s Qwstion continues to impress with their stuff-for-carrying-stuff offerings. Case-in-point the weekender bag and backpack, both in the Leather Brown colorway.

These delight in their outward simplicity and interior compartmentalization. Killer contrast there, and the understated sand-caramel tone only heightens it. These bags practically insist on tasteful adventure. Available now on Qwstion’s website.

Autumn Winter  takes a calmer turn with these back packs, laptop cases, wash bags and holdalls. The thinking is there’s too much glitz and colour around this time of year so best to keep things simple with an eyeball friendly tone that won’t make you look like a christmas decoration. Not too long ago, Swiss Air called out to the design world for some help developing a new “business class” travel kit. So Zurich’s Qwstion through their design into the ring. Lo and behold, they won. Here’s their take on the business class travel kit, available now on Swiss Air flight runs across the globe. You’ll find the usual inside including those excellent socks. Switzerland’s QWSTION takes their textile production in-house for Spring/Summer 2012. Their new fabric, designed by their team, gives their convertible laptop/office bag a distinct look. It almost looks like a hemp sack. The important part is the strappings which can be rearranged in either horizontal or vertical form. The photos tells it all. As shown at SEEK, Berlin.

The QWSTION Weekender (which this writer has been fond of for some time) get the re-work via a new herringbone shell. The same treatment is also give to their backpack and day bag. Super durable seat belt nylon wraps the bag and secures it for abuse. One of the more underrated weekender’s on the market today.
