Here’s a gander at R6’s upcoming autumn 2011. The Regent Belt company and 6876 collaboration continues on with their line of rather handsome bags and accessories. They’ve taken a slight step up in the belt department, with a couple of snazzily coloured versions we haven’t seen before. Elsewhere, you know the roll call – lanyards, tote bags, backpacks and wallets – It’s the sorta thing that’ll round out your accessories collection noicely.

The R6 line delivers another solid collection of bags, belts, lanyards, and wallets; mostly for the gents, but unisex in nature. “The second collection of R6 further defines the fusion of hand crafted made in England luxury and 6876 modernist aesthetics… The Paperback in leather is an interpretation of an East German army map bag. The Gyro a pared down version of the already released Capandula and the Breteles, with its distinctive V shaped fastening, is the ultimate shoulder bag.” We’ll take a look at the belts and lanyards shortly.

Special for Garbstore, R6 has produced the limited edition Breteles Satchel of canvas with leather trim. The bag includes two clip down front pockets and a zippered internal pocket for ones valued items.

Here’s a look at the R6 SS11 collection, a continuation of 6876’s Kenneth MacKenzie collaboration with Regent’s Belt company. The line continues to mix that old school heritage that everyone (and, judging from our recent round at the tradeshows, we mean absolutely everyone) is loving this season with new school functionality. It’s nice to be reminded that it is 2010 after all. Like always there’s a couple of backpacks, some tote bags and a range of belts. As it’s a Spring/Summer collection, the colours used are a little louder than the more sombre collections, but they’ll be sure to be a nice counteraction to the neutral colours most guys dress in. Look for it to ‘drop’ around January of next year.

R6 sure has been getting some love on Selectism of late. The 6876/Regent Belt Co. collaborative line is well off with strong options for the men’s accessories market. “The final installment of the R6 collection for spring/summer 2010 is the release of two luxury wallets in premium quality vegetable tanned Italian leather. The Conch and Dieter are hand made in England, are both available in three colours ways with contrast interiors and have quality embossed branding.” Zip wallets galore. Find them here.

We’ve been featuring a shedload of totes lately, but we still love our backpacks. You should know all about 6876’s collab with Regent Belts Company by now, but we still had to let you guys know about this ‘drop’. As Marlo probably wouldn’t say, this is the sort of the bag that’ll make your name ring out in the streets; so if you do get hold of this, look forward to getting asked ‘where did you get that bag from?’ a lot. R6 does something quite simple – combines the design savvy of 6876 with the manufacturing expertise of leather artisans Regent. The tw0-toned Leadberry belt is indicative of the collaborative effort. Simple leather and metal buckled belt, dash of intrigue with the contrast leathers. Wear with any fixed waist trouser or short.

It’s easy to lose track of things in the fashion whirlwind, but we had to showcase a favourite from the now available R6 SS10 collection. With all our meetings, premium coffee stops, dashing around town and general busy-businessman things to do, we sometimes need a bag that has a little heft to it – something this bag has in spades. Aside from being handsome it’s also showerproof – something you should really make sure all your bags are – and could double as an overnight bag if it’s just a night over at the boy/girlfriends house. Given the ridiculous speed the internet moves at, we’re already late on this one. But we like this collection so much that we thought we’d put it up anyway. We were fans of R6, Regent belts ongoing collaboration with 6876, when the SS10 collection dropped some months ago (look for that to release into 6876’s own store and Daniel Jenkins between now and april)

Like the first collection, the main focus is on the bags. There’s a smattering of wallets and belts – all shot beautifully by Donald Milne – but bags are undoubtedly the crux of the collection. There’s even a messenger bag in there (presumably for the couple of guys who haven’t leapt onto the backpack bandwagon yet). It’s everything you’d want in a collection; local manufacture, quality craftsmanship, handsome products – the whole shebang.
