Something between a ski boot and a hightop trainer, the Raf Simon Show Boot reminds me a bit of the Adidas Oddity Series from a few years ago but takes it a level beyond. "This directional boot has a white patent leather square toe with a cork laminated heel and black suede lining. The multicoloured rectangular layered sole is 1.5" deep with a hidden 1/2" padded inner. The multicoloured velcro strap fastenings are fully adjustable. When worn, the top of the boot sits comfortably above the ankle."

We have already presented you the initial Eastpak x Raf Simons Spring/Summer ‘08 collection. It was the first collaborative collection between the two and it was experimental and certainly different from anything that we have seen so far from Eastpak, which made it so interesting. Large sizes, lots of colors, unfamiliar shapes were the characteristics of the collection.

Here we give you now a preview of the upcoming Fall/Winter ‘08 collection of the collaboration. It looks like they calmed down a bit and present a much simpler range. We are not sure if we should be sad or happy. The line consists of different kinds of bags coming in a warm wool material for the colder months and cotton patches with prints have been applied to them.

These products will not come out for another couple of months, just a heads up for what there is to come!

Oki-Ni has received a shipment of two Raf Simon’s trainers for the comign Spring season. The “Pocket Trainer” and “Vandal Boot” are available in yellow and each trainer comes with its own special sauce. The “Pocket Trainer” is outfitted with a zip pocket on the rear while the “Vandal Boot” while paying homage to the vandal shoe also comes in a navy blue.

The Raf Simons x Eastpack collaboration collection, that we presented to you already a couple of months ago has now been released at Oki-Ni. They got in several different backpack styles as well as a duffle style backpack. Innovative cuts, as well as colors, make this collaboration stand out. With the constant feed of Head Porter luggage, the collaboration is a nice alternative.
