We’ve got a thing for fair isle knits at the moments, but good ones are hard to come by. There’s something about the pattern that makes it difficult to get right – companies either overdo it, underdo it or just make it plain ugly. So we were pleased to find that this Resistance pullover got it just right. It has enough colours to make you stand out amongst the grey and navy clad herd and, more importantly, the shawl collar is nice and thick; perfect for popping it up and using it as a makeshift scarf during a cold snap. A great naval inspired short coat from Resistance. The double breasted jacket is lined with tartan buttons which bring eye catching detail to the coats rather simple design of sharp military edges. Very wearable. Available now at Oki-ni.

For some reason, Spring Court collaborations always tend to come off a little too over-the-top. Sometimes with such a simple design, overdoing the embellishments can just kill the whole look of the sneaker. Resistance recently got together with Spring Court and while some of the results are a little off putting (I’m talking to you, animal print mid-tops) the gem of the collection are the ones we’ve framed above. The green and black twill is understated enough to fit into whatever your current look is whilst still being different enough from the regular springcourts to warrant a purchase. Get it from Oki-Ni.

Resistance teams up with Spring Court to produce two signature fabric B2 designed shoes for Fall/Winter 2008/2009. Using "tartan fabric uppers, gold eyelets and white laces, the fabric for the uppers is 75% wool, 10% Nylon, 10% Acetate and 5% Polyester." Find them now at oki-ni for 230$US.
