Swedish brand Resterods have released their AW09 lookbook and if you’ve ever wanted to mix classic American and French styles, this is the collection for you. The blurb on Resterod’s site states that the:

“AW 09 collection is a blend of the American working class hero and the French bohemian activist of the late sixties. The collection encourages [the wearer] to walk the talk, engage and participate.”

Resteröds SS09 collection sees a continuation of the sharp tailoring that the label is known for, but takes it in a very spring-focused manner. Whilst other brands see fit to release chunky knitwear for their SS09 collection, Resteröds are focused on lightweight materials that will breathe easy during the summer months. Resteröds are a Swedish brand who were first created back in 1935. Their circular knitting machines – which are still used to this day – are known for producing high quality garments, due to the unique way the machines knit the garments.
