Here’s a follow-up on that Clarks Wally’s for Rocky Mountain Featherbed… we bring a further look at the Japanese vest maker’s offering for Autumn/Winter 2012. When you focus in as much as they do on doing one thing great, you get results that stand out. Detailed stitching elements are new to the Rocky Mountain Featherbed vests.

Japan’s Rocky Mountain Featherbed gets in bed with Clarks Original for  dual battle Wallabee and vest set. The color match on the Wallabee v. vests match well with the supple brown leathers and suede hits. Choose your poison.

Sweden’s Caliroots present their Autumn Winter 2011 Lookbook for Rocky Mountain Featherbed. Shot by ErikbyErik across stark Stockholm landscapes, our well turned our adveturer finds himself lost amongst the rubble, old tyres and assorted trash all the while sporting RMF’s classic down vests, trimmed with leather and sheepskin. We don’t know if the young man featured ever made it safely home but rest assured whatever his fate he met it dressed in his finest.

We first previewed the Autumn 2011 collection from Rocky Mountain Featherbed back in Paris. Today, we bring you some lookbook shots from the collection. Splendid outwear jackets and vest hold the collection. Patterns cross over stripes and beyond. The shirts are there too but not as prominent for my liking. A solid collection for the latter half of the year. (cs)

Rocky Mountain Featherbed continues to offer some outstanding, Japanese produced outerwear based on the classic outdoor life of Northwest America. Technical nylon with leather shoulder appliqués work well. The striped vest above is an interesting standout in this space as well. Seen at (capsule) Paris.

While this piece is on sale, it’s still not cheap. Sorry H&M lovers. But it is worth the money when you factor in the quality and all that jazz. Just remember to half the price when explaining this purchase to anyone. (C Store)

We covered the brand in January of this year. Rockey Mountain Featherbed offers outwerwear with a serious wilderness feel. “The classic MP Jacket. Born in Seattle in the 70s, made in Japan today. Full GoreTex lined. Calf leather on shoulders. Detailed and functionable, yet very clean and retro outdoor look.” c-store has them.

(capsule) Paris brings us some looks from the Rocky Mountain Featherbed Co. specializing in down down feather vests and jackets. The company, originally founded in Wyoming, has a a strong following in the Japanese market, but with their showing in Paris, expectations are set high for the brand’s strong return to form in Europe and North America.
