Thirsty for laptops and hastily rolled-up flannels alike the “The best of two worlds” backpack from Stockholm-based buddies Denim Demon and Sandqvist speaks in a classic silhouette brought to life by unwashed denim, canvas, and vegetable tanned leather. The bag is part of a larger collection of the same title that drops later this month. “Both brands represent a classic, timeless fashion that will last, regardless of current trends,” we are told. We hope so. Also worth noting that for each bag sold, 50 kronor goes to the Swedish Society for Nature. You do need nature to get the most out of a backpack.

A little remainder from our roadtrip through Europe. This one from the SEEK show in Berlin. Sandvqvist shares their collection of baggage and accessories for the gents. The duffle is a highlight from the collection that while not an overachieving item, does has the touches to keep you low-key towards the end of the year. Well worth a stroll through our gallery. We brought you the first installment of this collaboration between C-Store , Sandqvist and Ekstedt in an earlier post. Here we feature its Khaki brother.

Both apron and bag made with heavy duty canvas and featuring leather detailing, this one’s for the butcher/carpenter/wild-eyed barman in your life. You see this time round they’ve recruited photographer Salvatore Scappini and the mysterious drinkmaker/chef of back door club Kåken to produce some vodka soaked images in celebration of part two of this release. This guy looks like he could make a mean martini whilst sawing a mini van in half, all kitted out in this tough guy collab.

For all the years that we have been friend with the C-Store crew (and have we been through some stuff – ask Jason how they saved his life in Barcelona years back), they seem to never compromise on enjoying the very best in cuisine. They’re taking this love to a new dimension with their current work with Sandqvist. Together, they have designed a special apron and knife bag for Swedish masterchef, Niklas Ekstedt. Ekstedt, famous for his restaurant “1900,” the back door club “Kåken,” and books is set to open a new establishment under his name, “Ekstedt.”

C-Store and Sandqvist mark that opening with a knife bag and apron available exclusively through C-Store. Knives not included.

So we’re gonna try and get through this post without using the cliche ‘pop of colour’. You could say we’ve already used it but we’re gonna stick our fingers in our ears and ignore your so-called logic. Instead we’ll look at this pale red backpack which would be a great pop…we said we weren’t going to say that, so we won’t. But if would look great with a muted outfit. (Grandpa)

Yes, that title is correct. Sandqvist show their collections a season behind everyone else, so they were showing off their AW10 collection at this SS11 show. Got that? good. There’s a bag for every occasion in this collection, with totes, backpacks and weekend bags all making an appearance.

Sweden’s Klang provides looks from the Sandqvist Spring/Summer 2010 collection. The collection is presented in the outskirts of the Swedish countryside and showcases their bags and accessories.
