We’ve featured a fair amount of Calabrese lately and there’s good reason for that: they pay us bajillions in under the table deals they make good bags. This satchel is a little more work ready than their duffle bags (and a damn sight more comfortable too) so it’s great for the man in who needs a good looking bag for Christmas. Here’s a first look at APC’s satchels for the upcoming season. Now that most men have either a tote, shopper, backpack and weekender in their arsenal (or in our case, all of the above) we could do with a satchel to add to the roster. We’re big fans of the maroon colourway but we won’t begrudge you if you prefer the more serious brown.

You probably don’t need to be told, but backpacks are hawt right now. So it’s surprising to see a Young British designer (or YBD  – we need a snappy name for these folks) make a satchel as opposed to a backpack. It’s the sort of bag you can actually take to work – you could even wear it with a suit. And, most importantly, it’s still within the realms of affordability at £215.
