Burberry Prorsum Patterned Scarf

burberry scarf 01 Burberry Prorsum Patterned Scarf

Big respect to Burberry Prorsum for being the first to answer our prayers for a Cliff Huxtable inspired scarf. Yeah, biggie could rock those famous jumpers but we haven’t all earned the necessary rap don status to follow suit. A cotton, merino, cashmere mix, Made in Italy, it’s spirit straight out of an 80s Brooklyn brownstone. Find it at Mr Porter.

Christopher Raeburn for Victorinox Sentry Scarf

There are some interesting points to mention regarding the sentry scarf from the Christopher Raeburn for Victorinox. First, they were made in the same workshop that Karl Elsener, founder of Victorinox made the first Swiss Army Knife. A total of 100 scarves were produced and most important, they are all made from remnant Swiss Army blanket materials - over-dyed to give them their distinct look. Ron Herman has them.

Symmetry Goods, Topo Design Scarf and Chalkbag

Colorado’s Topo Design (who are seeing a slight boom themselves at the moment) work with Los Angeles’ Symmetry Goods on a beautiful combination pack scarf/bag. Symettry’s unisex scarf is packed into a Topo designed slinged chalkbag – made from blacked out cordura. The scarf is a treat as well. The scarf is a variation on their Monza scarf, with one corner being in Japanese nylon (to echo the Cordura). It looks great in the Topo sling bag. A nice little package.

Another scarf? Yes. It’s cold out and we wanna wrap up warm. And what better way to do it than with a Nordic scarf? And if that won’t sway you, the brand’s from Japan – which means it’s better than anything else in the world by default. (LN-CC)
