Shipley & Halmos Spring 2010

Selectism - Shipley & Halmos Spring 2010

The Fashionisto gives their take on Shipley & Halmos’ Spring 2010 collection. “Opting for a presentation this season, Shipley & Halmos turned to short films for inspiration. Entitled “Versus”, the collection took shape in the form of four films showcasing models in the same ensembles illustrating various scenarios such as “static versus motion” or “action versus reaction”. The concept is a great play on words and emotions seeing as designers Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos took a more lax route this season.” (photos: men.style)

Selectism - Shipley & Halmos Men's Autumn 2009

Tobi has put together some excellent looks at the Shipley & Halmos Men’s Autumn 2009 collection. The Dublin peacoat is very much a standout in a slight charcoal grey finish, as well as the Prague Cashmere Sweater which dresses with it’s South American cousin, the Bogota Button down.

Shipley & Halmos Raincoat

We keep on almost tiring of the double breasted look on coats – but luckily, they keep on making good ones. Not to harp on at ASOS again, but why isn’t Shipley & Halmos in their designer section? If D&G can get into the designer section, then so should Shipley & Halmos. ASOS’s poor decision making aside, this is a great coat for the summer. Obviously the yellow isn’t for everyone, but you can pull it off you’ll be the biggest boss we’ve seen thus far. Get it ASOS.

FWD reports on Shipley and Halmos. "The Shipley & Halmos label has already racked up its first accolade after less than a year in business.
