Selectism - Zai for Bentley Skis

Ok, these trumps the Chanel snow goods. Swtzerland’s Zai gets in the mix with Bentley for a limited line of designer skis. Priced well into the 9500$US range, the Zai for Bentley “Supersport is a limited edition ski constructed out of a combination of carbon fiber refinforced thermoplastic, natural rubber, and chrome steel, which are all being used for the first time in a pair of skis.” Bangers. Selectism - Chanel Snowboards

Another year, another snowboard from Chanel. Last December, we covered the all black Chanel snowboard. This time around, they come at the product with a natural finish.  For the record they still carry the all black snowboards as well as skis. Just putting it out there. (acquire)

Dunhill Skis by Speciale

duhill skis Dunhill Skis by Speciale

The heat will hopefully not deter my plans to ride the icy hills of New England this coming week. New England mountains are very much a rite of passage. If you can ride the ice, you can plow the powder. I snowboard but if I was to ski, I would likely charm the senseless side of myself with the purchase of these fine Dunhill Skis by Speciale. “The Dunhill Skis are available in either teak or carbon fiber finishes with tough titanium bases. Available in two sizes, the $2,100 skis feature Vist bindings, handmade in Italy, which ‘fuse innovation with security.’” They look great and seeing as racing specialists, Speciale had a hand in them, they must ride like champs.
