You’d think the most distinctive feature of a woven patterned loafer would be the upper, however Acne’s use of a blue leather sole provides a complimentary and unusual punch to their Slip Print loafer. Made in Italy, the loafers are available now from Oki-Ni.

Mark McNairy and Engineered Garments have gotten together to produce two special slip-on model. For the conservative, there is a pair of elegant scotch grain slip-ons – available in black or brown. For the bolder, McNairy’s dreamed up a multi-leather longwing with both smooth and grain leather, mismatched on the left and right foot. Nepenthes Japan has them.

Toms slip-ons are a solid choice for Spring wear. If you have not spent some time in a pair of their slip-ons, I would suggest you do. Their Black Burlap style is a pair I will be picking up. The simple black finish is simple enough to toss into a weekender bag. Rock them on the shores or in your favorite drinking establishment. Need has them.

Well, you cannot wear them unless you like flat breads. Dadada sells these perishable loafers by R&E Praspaliauskas. they’re baked and carved into the shape of your favorite house slipper. Their bread slippers come packaged in shoe boxes (recycled it would seem). Personally, I would like a set with instruction to carve my own so I can serve it with soup. Some people drink from their boots, right? (likecool)

France’s Pare Gabia pushes out some interesting slip-ons for day to day wear. The leather and suede upper give them a casual flavor which is unlike many of the shoes we’ve presented for the Summer. They may be difficult to find but Edifice online has some excellent colorway options.

Not all deck shoes are equal. Estorisol takes aim at the market with their slip-on plain vamp version. What we love from this four color array – black, white, brown, and navy blue – is the drop down is the subtle drop in the sole near the heel cup. Very clean looks from Estorisol. (zozo)

Alberola offers a nice light and airy slip on for your warm weather pleasure. They work well with a pair of rolled up denim or chinos – even better with shorts. We just prefer them for their perforated breathable upper.

The rule number one has always been, that one has a good pair of black leather shoes with leather sole in the closet. So far our choice this season falls onto this new Common Projects Officers Slip-On Oxford. 

Dressed up in the classic Oxford outfit, the shoe features a Italian waxed nappa leather upper and a leather sole. Just like all Common Project shoes, this one also features as the only branding the golden serial number on the back heel. Especially in the case of this Oxford, a nice touch, much more than on their sneakers. The fact that it is a slip-on, thus coming without laces, is also pretty interesting.
