It’s mid-december, which means it’s now officially ’silly to buy anything for full price when it’ll be going on sale in two weeks’ time. We do admit that the name needs some work. But if you have an especially lovely partner who’s into all this dressing nice lark then this jacket would be a nice little gift. And of course, the contrast sleeves mean that it’ll look equally as fetching on you should you decide to keep it for yourself. (End)

SNS Herning with the help of END preview their Spring Summer 2012 offering of fine knitwear. Three garments pop out: The port sweater originally designed for North Sea harbor workers is a layering sweater meant to add that extra insulation in the coldest of times (then again these are Spring items). The classic Stark cardigan made from virgin wool and a bubble-knit texture patter has been in the SNS Herning family since 1971. The classic trim sweater is a navy cut made for rugged wear. Dig in.

You’ve probably seen this around other blogs already but we had to put these up ourselves. We just can’t resist some sexy knitwear and SNS Herning always delivers.

Ok, we’re winding down the Pitti coverage now. In fact this is the…drumroll please…penultimate post! We can tell you’re standing up and applauding right now. We’ll wait until you finish. All done? ok. SNS have kicked it up a notch this spring, doing a short sleeved knit alongside the regular lightweight stuff.

Here’s a preview look at SNS Herning’s upcoming collection (Dag is modelling a new one in the above shot, where we’ve unfairly cut his head off the shot). Showing in a separate showroom, away from the hustle and bustle of Paris during fashion week. They’ve introduced some new colourways (you’ll be able to spot them if you look hard enough) and added some intricate patterns to show off their skills with the needle.

SNS just relaunched their online store, which should help folks who wanted some of their lesser stocked styles. We’re enjoying the trippy pattern on this jumper, so we felt it’d make a great Christmas gift. We know it’s not exactly seasonally appropriate but a jumper’s for life, not just for Christmas. Autumn’s finally here, which means it’s time to start (or should that be continue?) looking at weightier pieces. This SNS cardigan is suitable as a makeshift coat. SNS Herning are a consistent favourite here at SL, so it’s only right that we focus on our favourite pieces from their AW10 collection. Some of these pieces have ‘dropped’ already (we still don’t feel right saying dropped) and some are still to come, but the general feel is that it’s the same ol’ SNS goodness we’ve always liked. We know what you’re thinking – ‘this has dropped in stores already!’. Well here’s a couple of styles that weren’t picked up by every store in town. The element sweater that we posted up earlier is available in hoodie and 1/2 arm length sweater form; the 1/2 arm length sweater isn’t for everyone, but we’re fans – anything that saves our cuffs from summer-push-up-abuse is fine by us. Elsewhere in the collection is an array of the sweaters, undergarments and hooded knits we’ve come to expect from the good folks at SNS.
