Soulland gets all regal Russian with the ‘Imperial’ collection for Autumn/Winter 2012. Moscow before the fall of the iron curtain provides inspiration (we’re hoping no one uses the phrase ‘tsar-chic’)  as well as the work of artists Wassily Kandinsky and Kazimir Malevic. However this is Soulland after all, so modern, casual and college are thrown in the mix as well as the introduction of new prints including the use of Russian tattoo imagery.

At this point, we’re all out of flower based puns. If anything, it’s a blessing in disguise, we’re sure you’ve seen ‘in bloom’ more times than you care to remember. We’re loving the new colorways from Soulland in their signature brimmed cap. Take a look at their bowlers which offer pales, red, and more for Spring/Summer 2012. We’re not sure how many of Soulland’s hats have landed in the Americas but we hope to see more on the streets. As shown at SEEK, Berlin.

In fact you’re probably one of those folks who repeats the mantra ’style not fashion’, wears all the right buzz brands and has a denim version of just about everything known to man. Pour out a little liquor for us, it’s our last day of reporting on Capsule. We’re kicking off today with Soulland, who used Capsule to show off their various collabs and mainstays. The Adler hat made a return alongside some of his shoes in some new colourways – including a traffic stopping silver. Elsewhere there was a continuation of their House of Billiam collab and last but not least, their team up with Illesteva.

Here’s some interesting news regarding Soulland:

“Designer Silas Adler, of brand Soulland, has designed a fashion based stamp for the Danish postal service, Post Danmark. This is the first time in Danish history that Post Danmark is issuing fashion related stamps. The Soulland stamp will be revealed and released on August 4, 2011, during Copenhagen Fashion Week.”
