Dehen 1920 - Northwestern U.S.A. Ivy Style for Autumn/Winter 2012

The Dehen 1920 line from Portland, OR is a fourth generation family business focused in on the classic varsity and ivy league sportswear of decades past. Re-launched for Autumn 2011, the Dehen line showcases their latest collection of well built jackets and crews – all featuring the same details and stitch work found on their vintage garments. The Japanese, of course, helped bring the Dehen name back onto the playing field. We hope to see them around for some time. Many more looks from the Autumn 2012 Dehen collection in our gallery.

Selectism -IHT - Adding more luxury to sportswear

A great article over at IHT on the how sportswear is beginning to make more of an inroad into the luxury houses of fashion. It is a trend that may have been provoked due to the introduction of new start up brands looking to catch the eye of the higher end buyer. "ports has been a playground for designers frustrated by the status quo of the formal suit and tie side of a man’s wardrobe. Looking good does not always mean dressing up, and new sports brands are merging technical expertise with luxury and style to put casual gear on a par with high fashion."
