Lad Musician have recently released their SS09 accesories collection online and it’s looking pretty dope. The collection takes Lad Musician’s music influences and translates them into pendants, necklaces and rings. There’s necklaces of an acoustic guitar, a tambourine, cymbals, a microphone and an image of jesus playing an electric guitar. The collection is available from Lad Musician’s online store.

Japan’s Whereabouts brings forth their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. The color scheme on the casual looks for spring and summer. Plaids and blues dominate the collection. We love the yachting jackets and short pants. (via mensrag)

We Are The Market turns us onto Burkman Brothers – two Canadian brothers who went into business together. The duo spent a few years as designers for the Gap, so the American casualwear influence is evident throughout the SS09 collection. Influence is also taken from their travels as freelance fabric designers, which led them throughout Asia. The collection itself is heavy on lightweight shirts as well as chino shorts and a couple of rain jackets. Take a look after the jump for the rest of the collection.

As R29 noted, blue is set to be the colour for upcoming spring. Anyone who’s been looking at the various Spring/Summer collections will have seen a big increase in the amount of suede footwear available. So what happens when you mix those two trends together? After previewing the new adidas SLVR Spring 2009 video last week, we now bring you detailed looks from the forthcoming collection via their lookbook. We’re very much excited for this new collection from adidas. The line is clearly more fashion driven but does not lose its connection to the adidas sportswear heritage. Overall the SLVR collection has a very modern Scandivanian feel to it. The subtle branding of the collection is a bonus and even though fashionable, the line looks very comfortable to wear.

We here at Selectism, were not sure what to expect from SLVR, but are very much impressed with the offering and the overall minimalist approach by adidas.

Pudel have released their SS09 lookbook online and it’s one for fans of the Rick Owens silhouette. Even if you’re not into the Gothic look, there’s enough pieces here (like the short sleeve shirt/jacket pictured far right) that could fit into anyones Spring wardrobe.

The Shofolk Spring/Summer 2009 Footwear collection has come some way since it’s birth back in 2004. “The shoes are handmade in Portugal from leathers sourced in Italy and each style has limited production runs to maintain their exclusivity. For spring summer 2009 the mens collection continues to provide a range of styles that have a look of their own and have been complemented by a diversity of leathers and finishes that has created a rich mix of colours and textures.”

Jil Sander recently released their SS09 footwear and they look to play with classic shoe styles. One pair of classic dress shoes are available in taupe and are extremely bendable, making them more comfortable than rigid shoes. The other are a pair of wedge-like two tones that are available in light grey/off white and light grey/navy blue.
