February 3rd marked the launch of the T-Michael footwear collection for Spring 2010 in Oslo. From there we bring you some exclusive looks at the line which features fresh re-interpretations that mix black, brown and green leathers in very appropriate ways. The “TLACE” derby shoe is a standout.

The Fashionisto offers their take on Tom Ford’s Spring 2010 collection for men. “Nicholas Hoult may be Tom Ford’s leading man when it comes to his eyewear campaign this season, but the designer does not break with tradition in regards to spring’s lookbook. Enlisting Jon Kortajarena once more, Ford turns out his signature suit in a vast array of colors and prints, even going as far as to add a casual resort element for difference.”

Here’s a quick look at one of the shirts coming from Rapha as part of their Spring/Summer 2010 collection. It’s a beauitful shirt that’s stacked with some special features making it proper for the bicycle commuters and, for that matter, anyone rocking a messenger bag on their daily grind. The top buttons on the shirt are concealed to prevent then from being torn off when placing or removing bags form your shoulder. They also throw in an easy access breast sized pocket on the rear of the shirt, as seen on traditional cycling jerseys. More looks to some as we get them in.

Gtiman Vintage returns with another strong collection of shirts for the gents. “Debuting its third season, the Gitman Vintage Spring / Summer 2010 collection pays homage to Spring / Summer 1984. In addition to selecting perennial favorites, such as washed solid and striped oxfords and a range of colorful chambrays, we also choose for this collection some of our favorites from the past: antique seersucker, cotton madras, bright cabana stripes, short sleeve formal in double-washed denim and some decidedly fun patch work madras.”

Shot on site at the Ace Hotel in NYC, the 3sixteen lookbook for Spring/Summer 2010 has arrived. “Our Spring 2010 range continues our focus on supporting domestic businesses. Shirting fabrics are sourced and sewn together in New York along with our handmade ties. Leather for our footwear comes from the world-famous Horween Tannery in Chicago and is then assembled in Maine. Selvedge denim is flown in from Japan and expertly assembled with heavy duty hardware here in the US.”

Han Kjøbenhavn delivers look from their Spring/Summer 2010 selection of eyewear. Of interest is the inclusion of a new model, “Paul Senior” (seen above) which joins “Avantguard,” “Harry,” and “Timless” in pursuing Danish styled looks that pull from the iconic 50’s. A slew of looks from the G-Star RAW Spring/Summer 2010 collection. The looks, which will be available through G-Star’s numerous outlets worldside offer a wide mix of men’s appropriate looks for the warm seasons. short denim complements blazers and shirts in a variety of colors and cuts.

While we’re at it, a reminder on G-Star’s hunt for runway reporters for this year’s New York Fashion Week. Through their site, nyfw-g-star.com, “reporters can put themselves forward for consideration and sign up with their social media account. The winners will be chosen by [the] public; the writer, photographer or film maker with the most votes wins…” Get on it people.

Workwear “inspired” fashions continue to run through 2010. The Wrangler “Blue Bell” collection pushes forward this Spring with more grit ready looks. “Premium denim brand Blue Bell strikes back with a second season inspired by vintage denim, by the contrast of harsh washes against clean preppy styling, and by the 1950s. Oki-Ni delivers a great set of suiting looks from the Maison Martin Margiela house for Spring/Summer 2010. Wool and tuxedo suits are priority in the offering that Oki-ni is carrying. As they put it, “An oyster coloured double breasted tuxedo suit with satin cut out details on the lapels. A regular cut, the jacket has a standard back vent, is tapered to the body with vertical darts and finished with horn buttons. Trousers have a button fly and are finished with two button fastening back pockets.”
