We’ll start with our friends at Rochambeau, who continue to forward progress their collection by refining their fits for the modern man. Back on Barbour for a moment: the line a wide offering that goes well beyond our favorites in the Beacon Heritage line. Take a look at their “Country Vintage” collection of fine garments with the appeal of a country/farmer lifestyle. You’ll note that Barbour has developed a unique camo for the collection which includes dogs, hunters, and salmon – all playing on the theme. The birds shirt is in there as well. We’ll share more on that with our full look coming in a few weeks…

For all the years we have been covering Bread and Butter, we have rarely delved into the collection from the world of G-Star. We have to admit: their presence at the show is overwhelming at time. Their private “area” is usually more than a football field in size and filled with their various clients. With a proper invitation, we decided to give their “area” a walk-through. Not surprising, in a collection as wide and reaching as their, we did indeed find a a handful of key looks which we believe should be shared. G-Star has many collection. Inside our gallery we presence them a a uniform unit. In the coming weeks and months we’ll do our best to outline those collections in a manner that we feel is right for you all.

Relax should be the theme of S/S 2012. While the demand continues for the heaviness of tough built men’s footwear, it is clear that the warm weather of the summer is pushing for more relaxed and lightweight takes. Of course, not everyone is rocking brogues in the heat, but we figured a reminder was in order. Keds and Pro-Keds showcased their lightweight and casual takes for the coming year.
