Head Porter Plus has released first pieces out of their Spring/Summer 2008 collection. The cruise theme is reflected in almost every piece of the collection. This first drop consists of chinos, t-shirts and also some accessories. You can also expect the line to become a little bit more colorful than before. Pics via Revolution/Helden.

Here we present you the latest Visvim’s that have been released. The FBT Elk comes in three colorways – white, brown and black. The entire upper, including the flap, come in premium elk leather, which is as usual soft as butter. To bring some color accents onto the shoes, they have beads on the laces. Japanese clothing chain Uniqlo has made quite an impact in its short time outside of Japan. New York has got its own Uniqlo flagship, London got a new store as well and Paris is following soon. Hopefully the expansion goes at this speed for some time, because if you do not have one close by yet, you are definitely missing out.

The quality is good and definitely more than ok considering the price. If you are in the need of any kinds of basics, Uniqlo is the place to go. With their recent addition of t-shirts, they now also offer in that section a nice selection.

Here you get a first look at their Spring/Summer 2008 collection. They offer very solid pieces in the line, nice classic shorts, striped tees, shirts and more. Details such as the light weight fleece scarfs and the hats, make the collection less standard and boring.

Garbstore, which calls their style Unfamiliar Vintage, has been striking us since its inception this Fall/Winter season. By mixing vintage western shirts, technical jackets and smart collaborations, it is probably the only brand out of Europe (we also do not see any by the way in the US), that created something that we usually only see from Japanese brands. Smart adaption of classics.

For Spring/Summer ‘08 they give us a little preview, Hawaiian shirts. From most other brands we would not really be feeling the idea, but for Garbstore it just makes sense! Something to look out for!

On a side note, they carry in their online store also Steve Alan and Mountain Research, two great brands, that are pretty hard to come by in Europe.
