Today, we walk through their lookbook highlighting the offering. “PRESENT launches its 2011 Summer collection… The Knitwear is produced in Scotland using local wools complemented by handmade Shirting produced using the finest British Textiles. After showcasing their sunglasses during his runway shoes, Michael Bastian and Randolph Engineering (RE) finally announce their full collection of 15 looks for Summer 2011. RE, based in Randolph, MA is one of a handful of eyewear makers still producing in the United States. Heritage Research brings us a first look at their forthcoming “capsule” collection with Rivendell Mountain Works – and it goes well beyond just backpacks. “All Rivendell packs are handmade by Eric Hardee at his workshop in the shadow of Mount Rainier. He has made 5 classic RMW packs in exclusive colourways and fabrics for H R including the legendary Jensen Pack in a smaller citypack pattern. The capsule range also includes specially woven summerweight English wools for shorts, Japanese oxford and chambray cotton and linen shirts and duo tone lightweight dry wax Longline Parkas.” Look for them in select doors shortly.

What an opportunity! Those in the U.K. can now look more like their American counterparts (or is it visa versa?) with the launch of the U.K. J. Crew e-commerce shop. The whole catalog looks to be available – including most of those one-offs.  Coming this Summer to a screen-reader near you.
