Burberry Limited "Summer" Fragrances for Men and Women

Burberry delivers two limited edition scents for the guys and gals. Available now, Burberry Summer offers something citrus-like for the guys: “Summer for Men is a citrus, aqueous, woody scent: a combination of fresh mint and juniper berries blended with hints of warm and dry cedar and sandal wood – an ideal blend of the summer’s freshest ingredients.” Tasty.

Uniform Experiment Suits for Summer

SOHPNET is one of those shops that forcing me to head into Japan for a visit this Autumn (as well as a wedding). For one, the tailored men’s suits under Uniform Experiment as seen above are fitted to the Japanese man, who tends to run slightly shorter than the Western world. I happen to fit into this height well and hope that one of their suits will end up in my luggage because of their quality finish and their Japanese fit. Wools in the SOHPNET suits run from teflon treated INVISTA wool to the Italian super wools which offer a variety of environmental finishes (some offer water resistance while others stop those wrinkles). SOPHNET has something for everyman.

“When it comes to the market of people, Dexter Wong has been dressing sub cultures for decades. As the name suggests, PEOPLE’S MARKET focuses on people’s fast paced and everchanging lifestyle needs, incorporating what we want to wear and how we live our lives, what influences us and how we influence.” (coutequecoute)

Selectism - Atelier La Durance Royston Denim Spring/Summer 2009

New denim from the Atelier La Durance line for Spring/Summer 2009. The Royston jean is made from 12.5oz broken twill denim (Japanese of course), with a nice cinch back for that classic 501 feel. Add a slight taper for that cool kid roll-up and we’re good to go. Oh, and it comes with a lightup. Enjoy.

Selectism - Silver Spoon Attire Sweatpants

Sweatpants may well become something more than lounging gear for the couch, gym, and the occasional run to the bodega, but the folks behind Silver Spoon Attire are pushing their wearability. As Dejour notes, "amiam from Silver Spoon, based out of London sent me a preview of their new S/S 09 collection and I like what I saw, but the one stand out piece for me were these grey trousers made with a thick cotton sweatpant material."

Selectism - Narrative Spring/Summer Collection 2009

We know we just featured Narrative’s Autumn/Winter collection a couple of weeks back, but we couldn’t hold back on this any longer. The SS09 collection is just as varied as the last, featuring everything from high tops to moccasins to suede brogues.  While the A/W collection focused on muted tones, the SS09 collection is much brighter with white, blue and red all making several appearances over the collection.

Take a look at the Narrative Spring/Summer 2009 collection after the jump.

Selectism - Nom de Guerre Spring/Summer 2009

Like a walk through the field of the Austrian hillside, comes the Nom de Guerre 2009 Collection for Spring and Summer. Some excellent looks for riding through the hills and maybe evena bit of a subtle Eastern Bloc touch to the collection. Its very well done and suited perfectly for its own spin on the coming seasons. We’re loving the map bag fitted in with the uniform shirt and black denim shorts.

Selectism - Gaspard Yurkievich Spring/Summer 2009

The Spring/Summer 2009 Gaspard Yurkievich men’s collection was unveiled in Paris with an interesting twist in inspiration for the collection – femininity . "The new collection finds its inspiration directly in the sartorial language developed during the 1920s, which consisted in integrating and reinterpreting habitually masculine dress codes within the feminine wardrobe: the military outfit, Tyrolean jacket…The dialogue has, thus, been recreated and presently ‘feminized’ elements are in turn reintegrated into the men’s wardrobe, all the while remaining true to the search for modernity that characterizes the collection."
