The Margiela house delivers a full eyewear collection for 2011 with the help of Cutler & Gross. MMM8 2011 features a good deal of re-worked Cutler & Gross sunglasses for MMM. “The collection features two distinct concepts: ‘Anatomic’ and “Wrong Size” both offered in an acetate and metal variety. The ‘Anatomic’ range features extra-large futuristic, functional wraps. These shades anatomically wrap around the wearers whole face providing absolute coverage. The ‘Wrong Size’ range highlights Martin Margiela’s pension for deconstruction and the experimental. Eyegoodies has them.

Mosley Tribes works with “salvage” bag maker, Temple Bags, on a military inspired frame case. “The collaboration case is constructed from 16oz dry canvas, salvaged from WWII era European military issue infantry bags and oiled saddle leather detailing. The frame sleeve is constructed completely out of materials re-claimed from WWII rip-stop parachutes and cords.”

The frame case includes a new Mosley Tribes frame – the green mirrored lens TANA. Barneys COOP has them exclusive on the set.

Today the new A.P.C. Spring/Summer 2011 Collection is getting into stores. We take a closer look at their accessories line-up and we are quite pleased with what we are seeing. Next to some hats, sunglasses, ties and belts, the our favorite part of their new collection are the bags. A beautiful mix of suede and leather, as well as canvas and leather on different silhouettes in strong colors, make up that part of the collection.

Flo Scandinavia gives the Cheap Monday a hand with their Spring/Summer 2011 sunglass collection. The unisex collection pulls “style of the 50 ’s, the shameless 60 ’s & the colorful 70’s.” The colors pull these far from the classic but do bring something fresh to the eyewear market.

Paz again. She’s just incredible. Tough to not put her up when she is wearing a pair of Illesteva’s Spring 2011 sunglasses. Not much more to say expect that they’re unisex so you’re girl or boy will be sharing pairs with you. The collection is drastic at times but we’re sure you’ll find something in there for you.
