SUPER’s “Lucia” sunglass frames for Autumn 2010 mix metal with acetates against two colorways of black/gold and safari/gold. The round shaped lenses are frames around acetate with metal temples. They offer a very unique look for those who tire of the aviator or wayfarer shapes.

A Barneys exclusive from my Italo brothers at SUPER. The Randagio model is a between season special which is part of a small initiative by the brand to test the waters on innovative looks. What should expect from the Randagio? ”A puma acetate skeleton hand covered in top notch leather with refined gold details that complete the elegant and strong design.” Love the square finish with leather wrap. Looks impressive on sight.

SUPER wraps their flat tops in leather for Autumn 2010. The ZEISS lens based Italo made frames are now available with a secondary treatment which full engulfs the sunglasses. With three leather shades to choose from, you have options. I’m sure some will buy all three to ensure maximum compatibility.

A slew of new frames are being shown by Super at Bread & Butter Berlin this week. We profile three new styles which should be ready for the Spring. The Italian frame maker moves further in merging their unique handmade builds against more classic shapes while refining them as only Super can.
