Here’s the first Spring/Summer collection from the new design team at London’s Swear footwear. They bring references to “early colonial Britain and mid-century America” through an assembled collection of classic looks in new textiles and colors.

Once again, excuse us. We’ve been at Bread and Butter and haven’t been able to post until now. We promise we’ll never leave you style deprived again.

Swear showed their SS10 collection at BBB, hitting us with a flood of new shoe styles. These include an updated creeper, which have a slightly slimmer sole than the original – making them that much more palatable for those who thought the original too extreme. The mixture of leather and suede on shoe uppers is becoming a staple, and Swear’s SS10 collection has it in abundance.

Go ahead and take a look at the collection after that leap.

London’s own S***R is dropping their AW09 styles and well they certainly know how to keep things looking fresh. A quick peek at some of these kicks was all we needed to know everyone should own at least
one pair. Combining classic, casual, and contemporary, the Iggy is the perfect all around shoe bringing together an oxford-like upper and comfortable rubber sole with minimal detailing. And the asterisks along the heal add a unique and distinguishing touch. And S**R steps up their game with the release of the Vinnie, a classic oxford with a bright sole. Throw a pair of these on to add the perfect edge to any conservative or traditional look. -cw

Bread & Butter Barcelona always plays host to a number of Selectism favourites and this year is no different. Swear previewed their A/W 2009 collection this week at the tradeshow and we’re able to show preview pictures of the collection. The style is classic Swear, although there is a move towards the slightly more rounded toe that’s becoming popular. Check after the jump for more pictures.

UK shoe brand Swear are a brand who’ve developed a close association with music, so it’s no surprise to hear that they’ve decided to release a greatest hits compilation of footwear. As you might expect, the greatest hits collection re-releases their most successful footwear and sees it modelled by several musicians in their ad campaign. You can check out their site to see the abundance of footwear that’s available from their online store.

Since 2005 Swear works with D.I.E. (Denim Is Everything) on a collaborative footwear collection. Mainly a Spring Summer collection because of preferred vulcanized lasts and printed textiles, the collaboration is now in its 5th season, the longest S***R has done.

The Fall/Winter 2008 collection brings you both a lo and hi-top in four colorways. Gone are the days of gothic, horror humorous characters for D.I.E. – the range is now tighter but there’s still a reference to D.I.E. heritage with a “flesh stitch” print and a new plaid print that goes nicely with some of this season’s clothing collections.
