Our favorite Australian motorcycle guys, Deus, have released their Autumn 2010 line. It’s cool, casual, Saturday afternoon in the garage gear… and, that’s a vibe we can totally buy into. The collection includes a mix of crews (like the above logo sweat) and hooded pieces. A solid balance of simply branded and printed material is also struck.

Some of our favorite Garbstore pieces are those that find inspiration in mid-century athletic wear. Spring 2011 sees quite a bit of that… with fine sweatshirts, sweat-shorts, and a rather exceptional training top. The sweatshirts feature portraits of “Men Who Did,” basically a group exceptional blokes.

Following a collaborative shoe project last season, Garbstore is also introducing a trio of shoes in Spring ‘11. Two boots and a slip on… all with chunky soles… make up the set.

Mr. Paley has also produced a pair of seamless selvedge denim trousers. These, almost needless to say, are pretty amazing.

Mark McNairy’s glorious sweats have been criminally ignored by bloggers and civilians for too long. A V-Neck sweatshirt paired with well cut trousers make for an elegant casual outfit. It wouldn’t be out of the question to add an oxford shirt to the look. A gold necklace would also work (if not be a little better).

Aether Apparel’s spring/summer 2010 collection moves away from the mountains and towards the beach. The same attention to fabric, fit, and feel remains, but the vibe becomes more living with the elements than protecting against them.

Included are a fine array of t-shirts – both crew and v-neck – of Supima cotton jersey. These shirts complement two swim shorts, one of microfiber and the other of cotton, which spawn from a traditional board short look. Fixed waist offerings come in the form of a cotton/linen cargo short and the “Caribou Stripe Short,” a nice pair of flat fronts. Aether also provides for cooler evenings with their Waffle Hoodie, new colors of our favorite the Space Hoodie, and a few nice new jacket selections. While we’re often seen as the sharper brother to High Snob, we like to get comfy too. We mean, there’s only so much super tough denim a man can take before he just wants to break out the sweat pants. And my friends, this is one of those days. Sweatpants have are still very much an emerging trend – mainly because men don’t really know how to wear them without looking like they’re going to the gym. Personally, we’d wear these with an oxford and some trainers or boat shoes as anything else can leave you looking a little too fashion victim for our tastes. (Norse)

Real Real Genuine’s spring offerings are beginning to appear online. They’ve started with the basics – a lightweight crew neck and a sampling of new t-shirts. The crew follows the Tribes 2 t-shirt, with heavy transfer “REAL” block lettering on either grey marl, slate blue or white. The sweatshirt is constructed with a one piece method, which removes the seams from the shoulder and arm. This technique has also been adapted for a t-shirt this spring, the Dennis. The shirt features subtle wrap graphics supplied by New York’s DeScript Design.
