Not too long ago, Swiss Air called out to the design world for some help developing a new “business class” travel kit. So Zurich’s Qwstion through their design into the ring. Lo and behold, they won. Here’s their take on the business class travel kit, available now on Swiss Air flight runs across the globe. You’ll find the usual inside including those excellent socks. A few new high design airline initiatives have been shown on these pages in the past. Swiss Air is another brand hedging bets on luxury air travel. This month they introduce a new First Class cabin into the fleet, with the First Class Suite by Priestman Goode Design at the center of the launch. Privacy rules, and each seat can be easily adjusted without the passenger being overwhelmed by technology. (via Yatzer).

Wallpaper* reports in on the latest in in flight luxury from Swiss Air. “when we were asked to take a peek at Swiss Air’s newly designed first class suite, we had high hopes for the Alpine air maestros… What we did not expect, however, was the well-lit, spaciously fitted, techno wonderland that we encountered. Clean lines, white paneling and waffle pine detailing all add to the sense of comforting costliness that wafts around the cabin.”
