K-Swiss is doing two things incredibly well at them moment. One, The brand is giving us a good laugh (#fuckyeahkennypowers) and two, producing tight capsule collections that hit the mark on core sporting heritage. The Joey Yates “Love Hurts” project sort of combines both skill sets, propelling an 80s tennis renegade back into the spotlight and providing the proper duds for a serious comeback. The collection boasts everything from sneakers to sweatpants.

Ah yes. Seeing as we tend to cover the footie angle of sports fashion, we believe it proper to cover Fred Perry’s latest tennis kit for Andy Murray which will be showcased at this year’s Wimbledon, which also helps celebrate their 100th anniversary. The Murray outfit looks to be grand with pieces ranging from performance shirts, v-neck sweaters, and even a tennis bomber!

“In celebration of the centenary year of Fred Perry’s birth, Murray has worked closely with Fred Perry designers to develop a blend of performance and heritage product referencing classic Fred Perry kit from the 1950s and 1960s. The kit features a full range of clothing from a white collared performance shirt and tailored shorts to an ivory cotton cable v-neck sweater, white cotton tennis bomber jacket and white kit bag.”

Lanvin Tennis Shoes

lanvin tennis shoes front Lanvin Tennis Shoes

Two new tennis shoes from Lanvin (I hope you pronounced it right). Black and grey/white as treated for tennis; though I am not sure I know many who play the sport of nobility with black shoes on. We’ll have to change that I guess. The upper on both model is nylon, with nice leather toe cap. The real detail is in the fine eyelets. Made in Italy where the finest of footwear is made. Bust out the plastic as these will run you a fine 570$US from AR.

The silhouette reminds us of the Dior Homme sneaker, just a little more simple and about half the price, thus definitely a good deal!
