AR has taken shipment of the latest sunglass eyewear from the one, Tom Ford. Very classic looks in the framing and shape from the designer. A little Bond influence is felt throughout. Only the best for Tom Ford of course – all frames and lenses are made in Italy. The best.

Give it to Luxist for hunting down these Fur Boots from Tom Ford. Retailing in at whopping pricepoints per pair, you can be certain that you’ll be one of the few outside of Nordic journeymen, eskimos, or Ewoks who will be rocking these. The breakdown, “There are silver and tan natural fur boots for $5,250; chocolate brown kid fur boots for $4,470 (above) both with rawhide leather laces; and a somewhat dressier pair of natural brown otter fur boots which cost the $9,240. Tom Ford has designed the “James Bond 007″ sunglasses. The sunglasses are not only part of his Spring/Summer 2009 collection, but James Bond is actually wearing them in Quantom Of Solice” as well. The sunglasses are an upgrade from the classic flight sunglasses and are available in two colorways.

Japan’s OPENERS gives a preview of the Tom Ford Fragrance Collection as it will be sold on the third floor of the Hankyu Department Store (in Japan). Also of note is the release of an "Extra Special Edition" frangrance for the Japan market. For the time being, 12 frangraces will be available.

DNR reports "Bergdorf Goodman Men last week unveiled a 1,600-square-foot, four-chamber Tom Ford shop that is the largest shop-in-shop in the store’s history. The space is an articulated expression of the Tom Ford concept, aesthetically similar to the designer’s Madison Avenue flagship, and the latest step in the global rollout of the brand, which launched men’s wear only 14 months ago."

Call it the end of a legacy. Since as far back as 1995, every James Bond expedition has had him suited up by Italian house, Brioni. But that legacy is about to change.

Times Online is reporting/confirming that Tom Ford International is now the choice tailor for the Bond character. Reporting from Panama Times Online mentions, “from its temporary base over there, which may well be underwater and made of glass, a spokesman admits that Tom Ford International will now be dressing Daniel Craig. Then, she appears to take fright, insisting that any announcement has to come from the designers themselves, and diving, fretfully, off the record.”

Other news outlets have reported that Daniel Craig has already torn through as many as 50 suits during the filming. We’ll see the outcome on the big screen shortly.
